Local Priorities Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used) Update

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

There has been a distraction theft on WELLINGTON ROAD on 18/07/2026 at approx1230hrs; where the victim has been approached by a male and female trying to sell perfume, they have then stolen the victims necklace.
